Chapter 21 Being His Luna

After that, the next few days went by peacefully. Every day, I learned something new about Ashton and the pack. With each passing day, my understanding grew. I spent time with many pack members, but mostly with the omegas, who worked in the house. I was scared at first, but their love and kindness slowly took away my fears, and I started to feel like I belonged, which I hadn't known I needed.
Ashton made sure to join me for at least one meal during the day. I knew he was busy with his work. But he always made time for me, asking about my day and sharing stories about the pack's history. During one of our quiet afternoons, Ashton came up to me while I was reading a book in a cosy corner.
