Chapter 10 Settling In

After Ashley left, I looked around the room. It was quite cosy. After a few seconds of gazing around, I strolled to the window with the curtains pulled back and gazed out at the landscape before me. It was wonderful. The window overlooked the backyard, which was very breathtaking. There were several red oak trees in the backyard, some with their own modest chairs under them. There were cobblestone roads that led to various destinations, such as massive and beautiful fountains or a modest gazebo adjacent to a vast lake. Everything looked wonderful in the midday light. A wind rushed through the trees, creating a wave-like appearance on the tops that enhanced their beauty.
With a smile, I stepped away from the window and made my way to the bathroom. I stepped into the largest bathroom I had ever laid eyes on, feeling like I had stumbled into a five-star spa. The room was decked out with a luxurious shower cubicle and a decadent jacuzzi that practically begged me to dive in. But what really caught my eye was the array of toiletries lining the shelves—serums, lotions, and potions. It was like stepping into a beauty store, and I had no idea where to start. But all of them were for men. I couldn't help but wonder if Alpha Ashton had a secret skincare routine that he indulged in. The thought of him pampering himself with these high-end products made me laugh.
