Chapter 21 Shadows Creep

  • Rustling rang through the thickets of iron and deathly barbed wire. The greenery was nonexistent, but the massive junkyard of demise was alive before the warrior. Barbed wire so sharp flesh could be shredded into pieces made up the bushes and tops of trees, making air travel difficult. The lane of grey dust also mystified the warrior upon setting foot on it. Everything seemed so gray.
  • The crimson above was no longer that sanguine-like tint but rather a deep blue that assured Isaac that he was in the chaotic realm of hell. Isaac stared at the small lane of metal and scrap as he dragged his eyes up on the steps of what seemed like a Greek temple with metallic pillars. Some were damaged and some were completely clean and untouched. He could tell something was waiting for him up within the temple, there was a guarantee of that, but he stood there wondering what it was.
  • After recovering almost all his aura, Isaac began his march up the lane of the first temple. Not a single organism of life could be seen except for him. The all-white-wearing warrior would be led to think. He paused once he heard a young female's cries for help. As he listened to this, a thunderous roar up above startled Isaac.
