Chapter 31 Heart Takes The Lead

• “How many days are you off from work, Carrie?” Minda is talking with her usual loving voice to her daughter. She went to sit on a steel single chair at the backyard garden. Carrie is busy minding the potted flowers since she woke up this morning. That was since two hours ago.
• She responded with a grunt. She didn’t say anything.
• Minda is pleased to hear a response from her daughter. That was way better than her not responding at all like she did at first. She even thought her daughter has lost her sanity. The wedding has been postponed indefinitely mainly because he daughter seemed to be not in her best condition. If Carrie will ever come back to her old self again, she doesn’t know. Like Edwin said, it is best to let her take her time. SO even though the wedding plans were left hanging , they have to let her decide for herself.She didn’t talk much but her face didn’t look distressed, either. Has she changed? But why? Why did she become this quiet? She spends most of her time in the garden.
