Chapter 16 Rare Visit

• Francis must be on his way here already, Georgina checked the clock at the right corner of her work table. Her son phoned just an hour ago telling her of his coming so she ordered the family cook to prepare a lunch for the three of them, Bobby included. Having her eldest son to eat meal with her is becoming rare nowadays, she recalled. That gave her remote sadness. But she isn’t dumb to not understand that what he has become and what he has achieved have some price. Francis couldn’t be both efficient on his job and at the same time having too much idle times to spend with the family. But they are both in no position to reverse anything. Those days when both her boys were near her is gone. Francis is already far off making life for himself. And very soon, Bobby won’t be around as well. How time had passed so quickly, she sighed.
• “Georgina, I don’t want you to show up at school!” Francis strongly told her that day.
