Chapter 64 Aaron's Play

  • "Damn it, Alit! You were being a real ass. Why the hell didn't you tell me you knew Jack all along?" Luke burst through the door, his voice a mix of frustration and anger. Aaron let out a tired sigh, setting down the document he had been engrossed in.
  • "Come on, Luke. It was just a little playful teasing. Besides, you're not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed," Aaron replied nonchalantly, a smirk playing on his lips.
  • "Ugh, you're such a jerk, you dickhead," Luke grumbled, clearly irritated. Aaron couldn't help but relish in the sight of his friend's animated annoyance. It was moments like these that reminded him of the authenticity he shared with his friends—Luke, Jack, and Edward. As Aaron's thoughts began to drift, Luke's voice snapped him back to the present.
