• Everyone gathered in the dining hall, and that included Ryan. Yeah, he dropped by Alit's place for dinner. Ederic kept his eyes fixed on the dimpled man, who was deeply engrossed in a conversation with Ryan about some business stuff. The older guy was definitely aware of Ederic's somewhat creepy gaze, but he just let it go.
• "Ryan, it'd be great if you could hang out with us more often. We haven't seen much of you lately," Mrs. Alit said with a soft tone, and Ryan responded with a warm smile. Truth was, Ryan hadn't been around much lately. He had his own business to attend to, after all.
