Ederic, however, was fixated on his phone, his face displaying confusion. Should he answer it or not? His thoughts were interrupted by Jasver's voice as he shook Ederic, causing him to startle with a heavy gasp. Until that moment, Ederic had been entirely unaware of his surroundings.
