Chapter 29

• Finja Longarm
• The carriage was swaying back and forth as we sat inside of it. The trip to Llanwater forest was long. Two days we had been sitting, not able to stretch our legs as often as we had wished to. To break up the boredom we slept, then when we set things up for the night we could not rest well because we had slept too much on the way to the campsite. Amuse and Fiathuen had it the hardest. Two bundles of energy needed to move around. By the third day the two of them began irritating each other, causing the rest of us to become irritated. If I did not come up with something soon, this was going to be an even longer voyage then it had to be.
• When the carriage had stopped for our midday meal, I ran to the trunk that was holding the books. I needed something that would distract Amuse and Fiathuen from bothering each other.
