• As I am getting ready to leave for work, “Come on mum, you need to get out of bed and have a bath!” I heard Nelle tell her. Since she has been brought to the castle, she has only moved to go to the washroom. I desperately wanted to stay and help out, but I could not stop working. Things at the Capital were worse than I had originally thought.
• Mum was not handling fathers death very well. She has pretty much stopped eating and refused to get out of bed. All she has been doing is yelling, crying and barking orders. Even Fiathuen could not get her grandmother up and out of bed. She had made it clear to all of us that she would never step another foot back in the house, that she wanted me to sell it! At the moment until I had my father's death certificate, I could do nothing. I tried to speak about letting Straightarrow and his family to stay in the house, though the second I brought up the house, she only yelled at me again. Telling me she did not care what happened to the house, sell it, burn it or let Straightarrow move in, she did not care.
