• They’d driven straight through after picking a random location on the list they were given. Blaise checked that Griffin was still sleeping and then stepped outside. It was early, but she knew that the teams would either be on route to safe houses or getting things ready. It had taken her a day to work up the nerve to make this call, so she needed to get it done before it drove her crazy.
• Opening Illias’ message, she tapped on the number and then jabbed the phone symbol when the call screen came up.
• On the third ring, someone answered, and her nerves had her talking before they got a hello out. “Sorry to call you so early, Prince…”
