• Blaise looked at her phone and then put it back to her ear again. “That’s the plan? Why not take him to the Alliance or—” she stopped, they couldn’t do that, they still had no idea who they could or couldn’t trust. She glanced over to see Devin watching her, if she wasn’t mistaken, he looked apologetic.
• “We bounced ideas around, but your place is the only one that’s completely off the grid.”
• She scowled, there was a reason for that. It was her place, and she liked the privacy and simplicity of it. It was where she went when she needed to be alone and battle her demons.
