Chapter 212 Deceit (Two)

  • Enraged beyond measure, Tracy flung the phone at the far wall as hard as she could, and the thing landed against the wall with a satisfying crash and scattered. How on earth had the bastard known that she was getting married tomorrow? Breathing hard, Tracy went to stare out the window at the lush gardens below her. It was only then that she realized her folly. She had destroyed her phone, and there was no way she would be able to reach Josh until she got a new one. She wondered if he would carry out his threat if she called his bluff by ignoring him, and then decided that she would rather not find out.
  • So she quickly dressed up and drove out of the house to the last spot where she had met him. He was sitting in the same corner where she had last seen him, a glass of drink in his hand. Tracy stared at him frostily and sank down into the seat opposite him, fixing her eyes on him.
  • “What is all this about?” She asked, her calm tone belying the tumult that was raging inside her. How she was able to stay so calm when she wanted to tear out her hair was a mystery to her.
