Chapter 16 Starting Afresh (Two)

• A video of the two came on shortly, in which they had been captured going into one of the classiest restaurants in the city together, arm in arm. This same restaurant was Becca's favorite, and Ryan knew it very well. It was there they had had their first date. For some reason, this hurt Becca more than she cared to admit. As usual, the paparazzi were waiting like vultures to pester them with questions.
• “Mr. Harris. Are you and Angela dating? What about your ex-wife? No one seems to know her whereabouts.” A burly, bespectacled man asked.
• “She’s my ex-wife for a reason. I’m done with that phase of my life.” Ryan replied shortly, not answering the man when he asked what he meant by that statement. Instead, he held Angela firmly by the elbow and led her into the restaurant, two of his bodyguards guiding them every inch of the way, but not before the persistent man asked another question.
