• I called for an urgent council meeting as soon as I stepped out of the room, asking one of my loyal guard's through mindlink to look after Lani. My blood was boiling and anger shrouded me like a cloud with each step I took toward the council room.
• They'd dared to make a move on my mate. Did they think there wouldn't be any consequences... That I wouldn't dare to go against them for my mate just because she's human.
