• I saw relief flash across Rhysand's gaze then gradually his face contoured into a beautiful smile. I stared awestruck at him_breath hitched, he was certainly a very gorgeous man. The most gorgeous man I 'd ever seen alongside his brother Cardan.
• At the thought of Cardan, I snapped out of my initial trance unable to stop myself from asking. "Uhmm, does Cardan know we went on a trip?"
• I saw his smile dispell the moment I finished my statement. A grim expression took over his face as he spoke. " What does it matter if he knows, please refrain from mentioning his name, whenever we're together."
