• What could've gotten her so riled up? Was it the duke? Or one of the guest beside him. It couldn't've been them because everyone had on a mask with the exception of the duke though, so it had to be him.
• Acting quickly, I briefly took off my mask to make my presence known, still clutching onto Lani who seemed to have regained her composure even though she was still slightly tensed. "Leave your mask on," I tell her, though she didn't seem to have any intention of taking it off.
• "Mr. Coleman, I'm glad you made it. We haven't seen each other since our last ordeal," The duke made his way towards us."
