• I caught myself going to King Ice’s chamber in the middle of the night. The pain was continuously stabbing my chest. I could stand by it. I had to convert my feelings into another kind of pain. I had nowhere to go. I shall not go to Fira. My sister was frustrated with our father’s missing and surely she was with King Fire. I must not show drama to Kalixto or to anyone. My choice was only to King Ice even if it was too dangerous to be with him at midnight.
• “King Ice ordered me that no one would enter his chamber. The midnight is coming.” Finn blocked me from knocking on the door.
