• I felt really, really bad. It was as if the sex we just had was terrible and made him feel guilty for cheating. It was ecstatic for me. I lay in bed now, sorting through my emotions because I felt so good and yet so alone. I sat up in bed, staring at the door he’d just run out of. He didn’t need to leave like that. If he felt so guilty about what happened, he could have just said so.
