• I pushed back from my desk and rested my head on the chair. It was pounding from the several discoveries I made, and the ones deep within that bothered me. My mind swarmed with so many details, eager to find a finishing point and stop, yet I found it hard to stop.
• The phone rang, mercifully relieving me of my torture temporarily. I grabbed it from the desk and placed it in my ear. It was Kevin, who I’d temporarily placed on the case concerning the company's corruption and misuse of funds.
