• As I mustered up courage, I stood tall, taking Emily's hand firmly, signaling our departure. Lily's piercing voice cut through the charged atmosphere, demanding, "Where do you think you're going, Chloe?" Unfazed, I met her gaze and replied, "Away from you, Lily," while advancing towards her, determination etched on my face.
• As tension escalated, I confronted the betrayal that lingered in the room. "I don't know why you're so blind, Lily. Alex cheated on me with you, so what makes you think he's not doing the same to you?" Lily, visibly angered, slammed her hand on the desk, but I refused to be silenced.
• "How dare you?" Lily shot back, her voice dripping with indignation. I seized the moment, cutting through the room's hushed whispers. "How dare me?" I echoed, my eyes scanning the onlookers. With a confident smile, I called out the hypocrisy, "You're asking how dare me when you're the one who betrayed our friendship."
