Chapter 33

• When I got to the door leading to my class, I looked back to know if he was coming behind me but he wasn't. There was some other boy standing at his locker with him now, they were laughing and talking like they didn't have to be in class like everyone else.
• I was about to go into the classroom when I saw Nick join Uche and the boy and they continued talking.
• When I went in, Mr Ralph; our teacher, had his legs crossed on top of his desk while he sipped from his mug at intervals. I quietly found my way to my seat which was next to Casey to avoid getting any attention but some persons still stared at me as I made way to sit.
