• I sipped from my glass as I watched Ms. Walle chat and laugh with the people surrounding her. Everyone seemed to like her. It was either that or they were really good at pretending.
• It's been two hours since I arrived at the party, and apparently, I arrived just in time for the pre-party, which was an hour before the main thing, so even after meeting Ms. Walle, I couldn't just leave. It would be rude, so I had to stall for like two hours more or so.
