- Jeri held her breath as they walked out on stage. Nova stood beside her.
- “I’m half out of my mind with nerves right now,” Nova whispered.
- Jeri nodded. “Same.” She watched them go up on the platform and the crowd applauding. It was so loud it seemed like it was echoing through the whole building.
