Cody looked at the news headlines with fear and panic in his heart. When he had gotten the results from Mrs Bennet's tests, it showed that nothing was wrong with her and that she was as healthy as a horse, so he decided to run a few more tests.
He liked being thorough in his work and he didn't want her to come back to hear that the tests showed that nothing was wrong with her when she was obviously displaying symptoms related to a health condition.
Just to be certain and as a second thought he screened the blood for the presence of the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone which would indicate pregnancy.
