Chapter 56 Cast Off

• Amy was sitting in the garden, vaguely concentrating on the book in her laps. Since she returned from the hospital 3 weeks ago, Reynolds had refused to let her go anywhere outside of the house or do anything for that matter.
• She was like a prisoner, at least she was a pretty one. Reynolds had refused to touch her even by mistake since the night in the hospital, maybe he felt he would break her into two if he so much as pointed a finger in her direction.
• He was terribly unbearable these days, he had made one of the maids sleep in her room at night, his reason was in case she needed to use the washroom or if she needed something else.
