Chapter 48 The Visit

Amy took extra time with her appearance today, she had on a gray cashmere sweater paired with black wide leg pants. Today they were going to pay a visit to Reynolds grandmother who couldn't attend the wedding because of her health.
Apparently the proper thing was for the couple to pay her a customary visit together. She chuckled at the word couple, it sounded surreal to her. She looked at her makeup kit, thought for a while and decided to settle with less makeup for today, although heavy under her eyes to hide her freckles.
Reynolds had left the house early after his morning jog, he had something urgent to sort out in the office. She had canceled all her appointments for the day and told Jane to take care of any other important thing.
