Chapter 44 Friend Or Foe

• Reynolds sat in his seat, swiveling from side to side. After leaving the office last night he had assigned two guards to trail Luke and keep an eye on him. Reynolds knew he had to do more than just watch him but he couldn't trust himself not to go into blind fury and beat the crap out of Luke.
• He hated sympathy, he was ruthless to his enemies, surely Luke was an enemy now and he was going to deal with him as such. This was why he did not fancy the idea of keeping friends.
• After what Nicholas and Ann did to him, he decided not to let anyone in but Luke was easy, he was always there, even with his occasional spells of anger, he was still stuck and he had come to love being around him and his wife.
