Chapter 46 The Audience

• Amy groaned and turned her face the other way as a fragment of sunlight shone on her face. The bed didn't feel familiar and her eyes shot open. The events of the last night came back to her and she looked down into the duvet and sighed.
• She looked around the room but didn't see any sign of Reynolds. Was she even expecting him to still be there waiting for her?She questioned herself. Typical of him to bolt, was she so bad that he couldn't wait to get away from her, she thought.
• She untangled herself from the duvet and made her way to her nightie which was slung over the chair. She put it on, looked at the bed one more time, thought of making the bed but decided not to.
