Chapter 15 The Unseen Threat

• When Esker, Olivia, and Jaden eventually came out of the council chamber, the sun was hardly a sliver on the horizon and the sky a kaleidoscope of purples and reds. They had been worn out but resolute after the fight that night. The attackers had been repelled, but it was unclear who had planned the surprise attack.
