• Parker nearly jumped out of his skin when Jed moved in next to him. He looked up at the big man, who folded his arms across his chest and stared straight ahead. Parker looked to the other side of Colton, where Trey now stood.
• Colton glanced at Trey and then Jed, who both nodded at him. He then looked the Alpha square in the eye. "In addition to my mate, I take my beta and my enforcer with me."
