• After making up his mind, Finnian rushed to a bar to find Stan. Partly, he was in a foul mood and needed someone to drink with. More importantly, Stan ran the Northern District and had great intel. Finnian wanted him to dig up any dirty, illegal stuff Matthew might’ve done in secret—ammo he could use when he crashed the engagement.
• Credit where it’s due—Finnian got lucky. Last night, Wesley and Matthew were fooling around at a nightclub that happened to be Stan’s place. When Cath stormed into their private room and kicked up a scene, the floor subordinates on duty were bound to notice and report it to Stan.
