Chapter 15 The Bitterest Medicine

• After Finnian woke up in the early morning, he prepared a bowl of blood nourishing traditional medicine for his mother. Just as he finished serving his mother, he received a call from Matthew. Matthew informed him that his nephew had contracted a rare and peculiar disease and was currently lying in a hospital ward. Matthew hoped that Finnian could assist with the treatment.
• Just the night before, Finnian had enjoyed a lavish meal, free of charge, at a hotel owned by Matthew. Hence, he was contemplating when to repay this favor. When Matthew approached him with a request, Finnian readily agreed without asking too many questions.
• In a short while, Matthew's two bodyguards arrived and drove Finnian away.
