Chapter 23 Fiancée

• Finnian returned home as dusk was settling in. Nathan, having finished his work for the day, was already in the kitchen preparing dinner.
• Upon seeing Finnian return, Nathan, who was deeply concerned about the usury, couldn't help but ask, “Finnian, have you finished paying off the usurious loan?”
• “No. It seems like those people committed some serious offenses. The police arrested them, and it looks like they wouldn't be released for at least a decade.” Finnian shrugged, distancing himself completely from the matter.
