Chapter 20 Calculated Vengeance

• Leo’s POV
• The door slammed behind me harder than I meant it to. I was filled with rage. The air outside hit my face, but it was not enough to cool my boiling temper. I couldn’t shake the look on Zara’s face at my reaction, but I also couldn’t ignore the fact that I was disappointed she would go that far.
• But as I arrived back at my penthouses, I didn’t know exactly what I was feeling. Feelings of whether I overreacted or whether it was completely valid. Truth be told, I hadn’t told Zara enough about myself but I deserve to draw that line between us. We just have a simple alliance between us anyway.
