She felt lazy and just sat on the chair and wheeled herself to the living room, she clapped to turn on the light and picked up the remote, she turned the TV on and reduced the volume to just a whisper, the house felt so empty that at a point, she wished she had just gone with Luca like he had wanted her to but she didn’t want to be a distraction to him and to be honest, she had been a little scared that she might witness something there that might trigger her. She might be healing but she hasn’t forgotten what she experienced and just seeing someone tied, which she assumed Maya would be, might be enough to make her anxious.
Nora couldn’t call Rose first, because it was so late already and they had already talked earlier. If she called her at the time of the night, Rose would be worried and that was the last thing she wanted Rose to be.
Even the TV did nothing to help her mood, she hoped that Maya would answer all of Luca’s questions not just because she wanted the young woman to be safe, but she also wanted Luca to be back early and he could only do that if she gave him the answers he wanted.
