Chapter 65

• Nora opened her eyes expecting to see Luca next to her but when she did, he wasn’t in the room, she touched his side of the bed and realized he must have left as soon as she fell asleep, she didn’t expect him to just leave like that after the night that they shared. She got out of bed and went about her usual routine without thinking much about what happened the night before because it still felt like it was a dream and waking up to him not being there made it even more so. If she had not been sore and her neck not filled with hickeys, she would have believed that she had dreamt of him. When Maya came to check on her and give her breakfast, she asked her for Luca and she told her that she didn’t meet him when she came him. She concluded that he might have had something important to do which is why he left so early. The thought of what they did last night and how her Christmas had gone from being lonely to erotic, her face reddened when she remembered how well he had loved her body, she smiled brightly. He had been a gentle lover and catered for her every need, she wanted to do it again with him.
