• I lift my eyes from the screen as the scent of my mate hits my nose. I close everything up and hurry to the door not wanting any knocking to wake Cole. I step outside into the hall wrapping my arms around Ari sweeping her into a chaste kiss. She giggles as I pull away, my mom coming up from behind.
• “He’s fallen back asleep. I’m trying to keep stimulus to a minimum since he ended up in three panic attacks the first hour after he woke up.”
• They both nod.
