• Dylan's POV
• My eyes scanned the hospital but I saw no sign of Ariana, I frowned when my gaze fell on the driver, he was seated on a long chair, his eyes were closed but his mouth hung open as he was busy snoring loudly, in two strides, I was at his front, I tapped him but he merely made himself more comfortable and kept on snoring, I tapped him again and he opened his eyes, his eyes were red from sleeping as he gazes at his side, his red eyes widened when they fell on me and he quickly jumped to his feet, "s...s...sir?"
• "Where's Ms. Ariana?" He swallowed as his gaze went to a hospital room, he pointed towards the room where Ariana had gone, and without another word to him, I left him standing there, I can understand what she must be going through right now, my mind flashed back to the pain of losing not just a parent but both parents on the same day, it was such pain that made me leave my park and came to the human world, where I was known by no one and began anew, I shook off the memory as I opened the door to the room where the driver had pointed but it was empty, "the corpse has been moved to the morgue" a nurse said when she saw me gazing into the room, trying to catch my eyes, she smiled nervously as she shook her full breast, I gave her a hard glare and she must have gotten my message because she quickly scurried away, her cheeks flushed with guilt, did Ariana follow the body to the morgue? I walked towards there and saw Samantha sitting by the door, just outside the morgue, sobbing uncontrollably, at first I was surprised to see her, I had completely forgotten that it was also her dad that had died, I stood for a moment and watched her as sobs racked her body, I thought of what to do, I had to go and look for Ariana, she wasn't here either but I also cannot leave Samantha in this state, I gently took her by the shoulders and led her to a chair as she wailed, I made her sit and offered her my handkerchief, then I brought out my phone and went out to make a call.
