• Ariana's POV
• I huffed angrily as I entered my office, "how could he make such a drastic decision without informing me first?" I rolled my eyes as I paced in my office, but the thought of being the face of the company's calendar is exciting just as it was scary, my heart skipped a bit just thinking of it, "gosh! I'm gonna mess it up for him, for goodness sake, I'm not even pretty" 
• "No, I can do it..." A knock sounded on my door interrupting my thoughts and the knob slowly turned to reveal Mr. Aziz, the messenger, he walked in when I beckoned for him to come in but stood beside the door looking all scared and nervous, I was puzzled by his action, why was he here and why was he looking so nervous? He stretched his hands towards me only then did I realize he was holding a piece of paper which he was now handing over to me, I slowly walked towards him and collected it, "what's this and who sent it?" His eyes only widened at my question, why was he behaving strangely? He shook his head and all but ran out from my office before I could ask further questions, I gazed at the folded paper in my hand and contemplated whether to open it or not, I shut my door before opening it, there was no address written on it, only a short scribble, "meet me at the junction beside the company's clothesline during your lunch break, it's important, it's a matter of life and death, come alone.
