• I was angry. Insanely upset at everything and everyone. And that anger generated a headache that disturbed me and confined me to my bed in my room.
• The room was dark. I had covered all the curtains and switched off the bulbs, causing darkness to swallow me whole. I just wanted distance from everyone in here. Down to the maids that would always knock on my door to ask if I wanted anything, or Cassidy, or Luna Jacinta. It’s even a miracle that none of them has come disturbing.
