• I held my hair with my one hand and used the other to tie it with the red band. My hair had grown long now and had reached my back. It gave me this feeling, this unlimited joy that bubbled ceaselessly in my heart when I touched it.
• Chris loved it. He claimed I resembled an Iron Angel. Though we haven’t seen any before. They all died in prior generations, along with other species, during the battle between the celestial and terrestrial guardians. But we’d heard stories and seen images of them in history books. If angelic was a person, it was them. Those creatures were stunningly gorgeous. Unfortunately, they were all deceased.
