Chapter 14 The Secret Visitation

• COLBY'S POV
• I opened my eyes and saw myself lying on the floor like a carcass, unable to stand up because of the intense pains I felt all over my body. Adding to my pains, I also realized that I smelled badly - a pungent smell of urine and dried blood.
• I needed to take my bath, but I could not. Not whilst I was still in this deep pain. It was like a boulder was placed on top of me, squeezing life out of me and breaking my bones. That was how acute the pain was.
