Chapter 51

• “Do not do anything I wouldn’t do,” Seth whispered into my ear before taking my hands in his and leading me out of the limousine.
• I took a deep breath and exhaled, then raised my head slowly. The blinding lights of the paparazzi made me anxious and I looked at Seth who stood unfazed. Seth linked my fingers in his, gently, and smiled at me. That was a signal–to put on my performing mask.
• I grinned at him and turned to the camera, with my left hand on Seth’s arm I tilted my head and smiled while Seth waved.
