• “Candice! You’re okay, thank goodness.” Nana exclaimed as she rushed to hug me.
• “How are you feeling?” I asked her softly, my hands slowly leaving her slim frame.
• “I should be asking you that.” She said to me as she led me inside the house. I stopped in my tracks, just as we reached the front of the staircase.”I don’t know what to feel.”I said quietly as she squeezed my hands gently and assured me, “No need to panic. I trust my grandson, he won’t do that.”
