• “Miss Amber,” Amanda said in a surprised tone following behind me into my room, her pupils enlarged as she peered at me.
• I turned my gaze away from her as I already knew why she had that look on her face. The news about my relationship with Roy must have circulated the mansion by now. I sighed heavily, taking a seat on my bed, knowing that it would only be a matter of time before it got out to the higher society as they call it.
