Chapter 28 Dead Fish

• Maya winced in pain, struggling to set her hand free from Pedro's strong grip, but all her efforts proved futile, and so she had to endure the torture as she was led to a secluded corner of the estate's gardens. She was sure his grip was going to leave a mark on her arm. His gree eyes were blazing with anger as he spun her around to face him.
• Maya rubbed her aching arm while facing down, afraid to stare into his eyes. She had looked forward to seeing the spectacular reaction from Pedro after seeing her hair, but that wasn't the case right now. If anything, she was afraid to piss the man off after witnessing the whole bloody challenge earlier.
• Pedro was angry and speechless at the same time as his eyes roamed her exposed shoulders. He turned his back on her for a second before turning back to face her with a frustrated expression.
