• "You still won't tell me what got you pissed this morning?" Alex asked as she helped Maya zip up her dress, her fingers working carefully with the delicate fabric.
• It was finally time for the wedding, and as they dressed up, Alex still tried to pry for some answers. She hadn't given up finding out what had gotten Maya in a bad mood in the morning.
• "It's nothing," Maya denied with a forced smile, though the morning's disturbing discovery still churned in her stomach. "Why are you suddenly so curious about me? Did your power tell you that something is going on with me?" She teased, hoping to deflect Alex's probing questions.
