Chapter 18 Desperate Pleas

• Alex was humming as she made her way back to her office when she felt a buzz from her phone.
• She paused and took a look at her phone, her face turning dark upon seeing the text from Pedro.
• "Oh man, what have I ever done wrong to deserve a man like you?" she grumbled as she read the instructions written in the text over and over by heart. Her mood was instantly spoiled. She had thought she would get a good rest in her office after taking care of so many patients this morning. Looks like there was no rest for someone like her who had the devil-like Pedro in her life.
