• The moment I went back to my place, I received a text from Leilani, reminding me of my promise to her. I let out a small sigh. This wasn’t what I needed at this point but because of the ties I had with her father, and partly for the fact that she would make a good distraction, sent a text back letting her know that I would remember to come pick her up.
